Remembering September 11, 2001

On September 12, 2001, we made a promise to NEVER FORGET our fallen heroes who lost their lives running toward danger when everyone else was running away. This evening/morning, as we gather to remember:  The 2,977 souls that were lost in Twin Towers in New York City…  The 184 souls at the Pentagon  The 40 souls Near Shanksville, Pennsylvania  And the over 2,000 people who died since 9/11 related to diseases and airway afflictions from trying to recover people from the ruins… Let us truly never forget and always remember the heroic ending of their lives. Finally, Lord, we pray that You keep us safe from all those who wish to harm us as a city, a state, a nation and a country, as we always remember our troops and allies around the world.
